As passionate agents of change and healing we are committed, to guide as servant leaders. Challenge is the existing power that requires commitment for both public and private. Fence sitters only hurt both sides. We must get to work and put our thoughts and ideas on the line. More than anyone else, I’m the one who must dare and willing to risk it all. Dare to be great and lead change will require my total presence, not just a “punch the clock” Mentality. I will do this without any interest in glory or power. Great leaders are willing and able to reflect their light onto their teams. Great leaders don’t want the attention, but they use it to empower others. I’ve heard that people are calling me an ego-maniac and that this whole movement is about me and my vendetta against my former mentors. Nothing could be farther from the truth! I am committed to this movement through my desire to add value and help people heal. My only desire is to empower others to believe in themselves, not to raise the value they hold of me. I know that it is the intent of our leadership that matters most. True leaders can sniff out unauthentic people who are seeking attention or looking out for number one. I am committed to use all recognition and authority as a tool to unite us and reinforce our deep values in personal growth, peace and brotherhood. My motivation is not of money or status, it is the pure joy of finally seeing my brothers and sisters enjoy the same quality of freedom that I have lived for nearly two decades. This is about what I can do for this tribe not what it can do for me! I truly deeply desire to serve and leave a legacy of greatness and freedom. Freedom causes our personal responsibility to rise and surface. We either rise with it or we will lose our freedom. The only way to cultivate freedom is through experiencing and learning how to handle an increasing number of options. Managing options is how we expand our lives into an ever-increasing wealth mind set. However we will remind ourselves that a wealthy mindset is not about money or things, it is about freedom and generosity.....
We will encourage people to see their blessings as a responsibility to bring love and security to the environment they live in. Pour their lives into the long-term benefits of society and future generations, thus changing the destiny of any that will ever bare their names. A culture of honor is not an idea; it’s a practice, a practice of giving! I dream of a generation whose dream it is to benefit the world around them by learning to handle and give away the limitless, transforming resources of Gods kingdom. ....
We will build a culture of honor that is love driven not rule driven. We will share in the belief that we are free people. We will do whatever it takes to courageously embrace this truth, walk in it and come to know it as our reality! A true culture of love!! I believe there are clashes going on of two dominions; fear and love; freedom and control; old and new covenant; and law and grace.....
I will choose to lead, not manage, and do my best to connect with the heart and needs of our community. I will work to unify our tribes in purpose over action. We will be unified by spirit and harmony not rules and enforcement. I will encourage a 360 degree style of leadership that runs all directions not upline/downline only. Positional leadership will be abolished and mentoring relationships will be based on mutual love, trust and respect. No submission, just love and trust. We will have peace in open source communication and environments like social networks where we can openly share ideas and help each family member. Communication will be kept constant via twitter and mobile updates.....
This will create discomfort for those that crave authority and power. It is this discomfort that will force all of us to grow in our own confidence and love for each other. It is uncomfortable to lead a tribe of independent thinkers, it is uncomfortable to run with an idea that might fail, it is uncomfortable to challenge the monolithic organizations that have dominated this industry for 50 years and it is uncomfortable to resist settling for the safe route. But it is in this discomfort that we find the place where new leadership is needed the most!....
This is a call to action; we need all of you to be actively involved in leading this tribe and spreading this message of growth, love and peace. Truly it will be up to the micro leaders that are out in the trenches every day not just the current leaders of this movement. We will be relying on the contributions of the young enthusiastic people of passion and purpose. I hope to create a vacuum affect that pulls all of you to your highest purpose. Leadership is a choice and to do nothing is a choice. Hiding or sitting on the fence is a choice to do nothing. I respect whatever you choose and have no personal attachment to your decisions but my prayer is that you will desired to achieve your highest calling. I Love you no matter what and this decision will not alter that commitment. ....
Just showing up will not be sufficient, we must work hard to reach out to the hurting people of the world. We must act confidently, humbly and peacefully to find these wounded souls. So many people have a front up; therefore it is my call to help them find the true purpose that lies dormant in their minds. We must help them find their voice and realize that the safest thing we do feels risky and the riskiest thing we can do it play it safe! This will be the mindset that will set our cooped up passions free and lead us to distinguish our own greatness from the mediocrity that we have been hiding behind.....

My Manifesto part 5

My intention is to lead people that will eventually leave. I believe a real leader is not based on what they become but measured by what they create through their success. I want to rise up leaders that go out and change the world in a positive way. I want people enable to lead their own tribes and pursue the passions in their souls. I expect people to use this business as a trampoline to greater outreaches. I am not concerned with keeping people in this business forever. If people would like to stay, there will always be a place for them here, but I’m looking forward to celebrate your success outside this business from the profits and personal development you received from our team. You will always be a free agent and hopefully an agent of change. ....

We will help you face fear and learn to use it as an ally not a foe. Many people in this world are just waiting for all of us to fail! But the world we love and embrace is waiting for us to win and add value. I have experienced both. It seemed like there were so many people that were just waiting for me to fail so they could say “See! I told you so, told you that was gonna happen!” almost like they celebrate being right about someone’s loss. How messed up is that!!?? Because you have the audacity to challenge the present powers and those that sheepishly followed, you will be insulted and then ridiculed when you fail. But, if you are willing to get up and persevere, your fear and pain will be drowned out by the stories of restoration and victory that you help to create. I’ve found there are actually many people out there who really do want us to win. They are cheering us on to get up and get going. All of those people who cry in the movies that suffers the pain of the fallen are actually still whispering into the universe “get up, get up, get up!” “Please get up”! “We love you and we forgive you” “We need you to lead us” “We are here, and when you are ready we will rise with you!” Listen to this voice. God loves us and wants to use our story for the greater good of mankind! Your new humility and wisdom can carry you to heights that we thought were impossible until you went through this crucible. You are now made new and will lead one of the greatest movements of mankind! You have faced death and you are no longer afraid. “God is in the rain!”....

I am so sickened by the hundreds of stories of people who struggle for years but never seem to get anywhere. For some reason they just can’t seem to get attract and develop of the results they deserve. They should worked hard, followed all the rules and taken all the beatings. I am very proud of the personal changes people have made and don’t discount that at all, however I feel it is my duty to make the necessary changes in order for people to finally make some headway on their dreams. Many are told to continue follow and keep doing what they are doing; becoming better and better at following but never learn to lead. In fact, being told is not to think, just listen and follow. Follow instructions, follow directions, follow the pack, do what they tell you, they did to get where they are at. “Tired men and bored women!” boring ideas don’t spread and boring organizations don’t grow. ....

Working in an environment that is stuck is not fun and breeds more of the same. Worse yet, working in an organization that fight for change will breed the initiative out of you. The age of free-thinking is upon us and yet fear still remains. The old ages will tell stories of what happened to others that chose to go down this path over and over again. Many will use these stories to stoke fear and rationalize their desire to hide and do nothing. Fear keeps people under submission. Fear that there is no way they could make it without the help of their current leadership. I would challenge that it’s not really the fear of failure that grips them but the fear of criticism! We have worked for our whole lives to avoid being talked about and put down. Choosing to is not to be remarkable because we are worried about criticism is very real. People are worried about stepping out, leading change, being a rebel or sharing a passionate message because someone will criticize it or judge them. I’ve been blogged hundreds of times, gossiped about, judged and measured by tens of thousands. It is hurtful, damaging and even sometimes paralyzing but what I try to remember is that the love is silent and the hate is loud. I believe it is the vocal minority that tries to stop my love for people and life. I am grateful to have a voice that people care enough to listen to and criticize but I absolutely refuse to lose heart. Truly, I have learned so much from both sides of the blogs. Both love and judgment can be helpful if taken in the right context. Boring or remarkable is a choice! Follow your destiny and lead a healing movement. ....

If someone asks you how your day was and your answer is fine then I don’t think you are leading and I don’t think you are living passionately. So, the question on the table is, are we going to live remarkably or boringly? Boring is safe and without issue. William Wallace, in Braveheart , challenged his ragtag army of farmers and blacksmiths by declaring, “Dying in your beds many years from now would you be willing to trade all of this, from this day till then, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies, you can take our homes, you can take our lives but you will never take our freedom!!” as he rode in front of them before their battle..We will never have to risk our lives and our fortunes but we will be risking comfort and heavy criticism. I would challenge all to ponder that if the only side effect of criticism is that we will feel bad about what people say, then we should compare that feeling with the benefits we will get from actually doing something incredibly bold and worthwhile. Being remarkable is exhilarating and raised life to the highest level. The feeling of criticism eventually wears off and dies down over time and extinguished with success and impact. The real question is who are we upsetting and why are they upset? Are they taking it personally that we want to change our lives passionately? Are they afraid of losing control or profit? Are these really reasons that are about helping us live our dreams or their dreams? Thoughts to ponder!....

People from all over the world will join us on our journey! People are bored with yesterday and demand tomorrow. No more average ideas, average people and mediocre results! Life is just too short to be average and accept less than your best. We are a group of people who deeply care about others and are willing to risk our own fortunes to lead the future generation. We will virally expand at exponential rates because we know we are called to lead change and help others live authentically. We are not just looking to hit numbers or another “new face or set of eyeballs.” We are searching for passionate people we can connect deeply with. People that we can fall in love with and be part of their journey of growth and change. We will be a safe place to struggle, fail, get up and move ahead. A place where failure isn’t final, understand that life is a battle place not resting place. ....
We are embarking on a journey that we will be tested, broken and rebuilt with love, patience and grace. Now that sounds like a life changing way to live and truly absorb all the energy of love and life. We are not about mass we are about quality and authenticity. Every day we will work to strengthen each other while maintaining an understanding and respect for our differences. The individuals who inspire others to stand up and lead change are those that will thrive.....
I am standing on the position of divine guidance and calling. In one way do I intend to force people to live by the same faith that I have chosen, but I do expect everyone to respect my choice, as I will respect all of yours. The growth of this organization will not be based on my ambition. If it is my ambition that makes this movement expand then it will require me and my efforts to keep it going! This is not my intention. I want to pass on a legacy to the next generations as they rise up and are ready to lead. If this movement is the will of God then it will be carried forth by his will not mine. My commitment is to help people heal, find a passion and then empower and equip them to bring their dream to fruition.

There are still many people who are stuck in the matrix and seem to be sleep walking through life and they don’t even know it. We all want a little stability but some people can only survive in it. They want the absence of responsibility and accountability. To show up and do what they are told. They crave the predictable status quo, where average is excellence and performance is not rewarded. The environment is steady, the pay is good enough and there are no surprises. We will love these people and never judge them. We will build our movement of great growth so they can rely on their “safe predictable world”. Those that look out the window at our life will either join us or mock us. We will not respond with haste but with love and grace. We will have pity on them and continue to move forward and live exceedingly passionate lives. We will use our age and passion to create leverage. We will harness the technology movement to spread our word of life. Whether we are very young or mature in our years we will leverage our time, talent and testimonies to lead change. We will enable people to reap huge benefits by using their insights, giving them the freedom to control what they do all day and create solutions to the challenges they face. ....
We have everything we need to lead and execute change. Stand up and lead and people will follow.

The social networks we build will provide a healthy environment to share ideas and stories thus leveraging each others creativity and passions in a positive way. ....

Our home website will encompass our private social network, mobile applications, Amway Global partnership and resources for many genres that inspires people to achieve their potential. Our website will enable us to communicate, encourage, and stimulate radical growth. V six will enable to control our self ; for its goal is to create eventual independence over dependence. I want people to feel free to stay with us long-term, or to use this system as a springboard that will launch them into becoming a greater resource of contribution that will heal this cruel world. I want to heal people and set them free through the true power of love.....

The whole value and purpose of freedom is love. When we use our freedom to love as intended, our love is protected and cultivated. Clearly it is important, as a leader, to define reality in reaching goals but our absolute priority is to share our love. Without love we have nothing! Leaders who extinguish love in the process of reaching goals may have achieved mans priorities but not the intention of our God that loves us. Freedom and love are synonymous. I propose that the goal of leadership is to create a safe environment for us to discover who we are and why we are here. A safe place is where the fear of misused freedom doesn’t get to rise up and intimidate us out of risking trust and love in our relationships with each other. A safe place is what gets cultivated when freedom is expressed through love. The essence of love is safety and connectivity. If people don’t feel safe to be themselves and don’t feel a sense of connection with people around them then it’s hard to convince them that they are in a safe place. This peace that I'm talking about will stimulate the deepest parts of what is best in each of us. We can only reproduce on the outside that which is on the inside. If our thoughts and actions are wrapped up in a spirit of fear we will all be forced to hide behind unauthentic masks. We must be able to be ourselves in this life and community.....

Of course there will be conflict, but the question is “ will we use love and honor to navigate through these waters?”. Peace and love does not mean the absence of conflict. True peace comes as a result of lovingly handling conflict. Almost all true that harmony comes as a result of conflict. We will sustain an environment of grace! We will address the spirit of people not just their behavior. We will approach with a spirit of gentleness and a spirit where we are rooted in our belief that we do not need to control people. If we think we need to control people we begin to think we need to punish people. If we don’t know how to handle failures then we wont able know how to deal with people. People create an environment of law to keep order. The message of that culture becomes “ keep your failure inside because we can’t handle it”! The only remedy becomes punishment instead of a culture of honor, love and grace. We will meet failure with love and offer solutions that restore instead of punish and abolish. My biggest prayer is that people can be restored, move on and believe in their hearts that they are, who God says they are! Through this love people will heal and forward asking in the warmth of grace and choosing a path that honors this gift. ....

I won’t manage but I will lead. As an active humble participant I will help to set the peace and maintain the peace. I won’t tell you what to do but I will show you what I am doing and you can choose to join me if you like. I have no personal attachment to your decision. It is always be your choice. My only prayer is that you will be my friends. ....

Leadership is about creating change that you believe in....

Most “older mindset” leaders will see this movement as a threat. These leaders have surrounded themselves with people who think the same way they do. These individuals are well placed and insulate the primary leader so no one can get to them. The main leaders consult with this community and only get feedback from people who think the same way they do so there is never a challenge of their thought process and decision-making. If there is a heretic in this group he is told to stand down and take it for the team or asked to leave the tribe. Eventually washed out and banished to the wastelands as a “traitor.”

These very people that we are looking for! If they can be listened to, validated and involved with the overall thought process, great deep change can occur.....

If the tribal leader cannot banish this person, the leader will fall. So they must work hard to squash to spread new ideas and never allow these seeds to take root into fertile minds of new leadership. If new ideas will take root the king will fall and his power and possibly the kingdom. ....

However; the truth is, the kingdom will fall anyways if change is not implemented. If the king will embrace the change and be part of these changes then the kingdom can be spared, new leadership can rise up and old leadership can successfully transfer their authority and maintain legendary status as the king who cared enough for his people that he took the risk, listened, humbled himself, and transitioned to the future.....

Stability is an illusion anyways! Change is stability! Our world will be changing forever. Those of us who are in an industry led by leaders that are unwilling to change are really in an opportunistic environment. We can be the agents of change that many people are looking for. If we stand up and lead, people will follow in mass. They are waiting for us to rise up and lead this movement. ....

Don’t wait and don’t hesitate. There will not be a bolt of lightning that carves a messages in your front yard, and don’t think that you need someone’s permission. I know God has called me to this task! He has been preparing me my whole life for this very season. I am certain that my divorce was never Gods plan but he wants me to learn from it and use these lessons to lead people all over the world. Battered, scarred, humbled, and full of grace I find myself more passionate than I can ever remember being in my life. Yet there is a quiet confidence that seems to be guiding every move I make. No anger, spite or bitterness! Just love and a deep desire to free people from the sleep walking state that this world has pulled them into. The more resistance, the more passion and peace I feel. I am fully committed to love, grace, kindness and a willingness to serve and heal. ....

We will no longer be threatened by the idea of “cross lining”. In fact, I encourage people to work together to find solutions to the future. Not really concerned with organizational structure or control. We will use passion and creativity to lead people, as opposed to threats and fear tactics that manipulate people into submission. There is a huge difference between telling our people what to do and creating a movement that they feel called to join. Our movement will come from working together without boundaries and fear, where people will naturally gravitate to the right thing which is serving each other, loving each other and seeking peace and prosperity as the highest intention.....

The question is “is it possible for me to do this, its the will I choose to do it” that decision has been made so the results have already been determined.....

People all over the world realized that going to work to make a living is not what their soul longs for. They are longing for adventure and to belong to something that truly makes a difference in this world....
Even the consumer has made the shift from mass produced items to higher quality, custom, organic, local products and services despite the prices. They are willing to spend a little more time and money on the things they believe in.....
We are learning as a culture how to break out of tradition, old rules and fears that have kept us numb to life and how awesome authentic living really can be.....
We are breaking away from safe, reliable, management style mindsets and growing into entrepreneurial leadership agents of change; willing to take more risks in the name of truly living and the pursuit of making a significant difference. One person is a majority when it comes to courage and the commitment to make a difference. We became people who are willing to challenge authority and tradition. Most people will consider us rebels and heretics. We welcome this perspective for without resistance, there is no reason to change. ....
Every one of us needs lead. Not just tradition would consider leaders, but absolutely everyone. Leadership is defined by one word, (influence). We are all leaders because we've been influence. Some influence are very little but we are all making an impact on someone. People are watching and our lifestyle is our greatest form of leadership. People learn far from what you do than what you say. It doesn’t mean that our words are not important, because they are. When our words are backed up by our actions people stand up and pay attention and we begin becoming a mentor. I've learned by so many of my mistakes in this area and it is the prayer of this manifesto will help many people avoid the landmines that have nearly taken my spirit. ....

.. LET YOUR FOOT OFF THE GAS

Do you all remember your first experience with driving on snow, ice or any other very slippery surface. I love watching guys try to get their rig out of a mud hole. They punch it, the car rocks, mud flies everywhere and the engine screams with frustration. It doesn’t work! The same thing occurs on snow and ice. If you slam the gas all you do is spin the tires, and if you jam the breaks all you do is slide.

I remember a few years ago my son Braden was working hard to finally hit home runs. Of which I might boast he broke the city league record at. He was swinging harder and harder trying to hit it over the seemingly impossible fence. Then his coach yelled to stop swinging hard and told him to swing quick and with the next few swings of the bat he went on a rampage hitting the ball all over the park.

It is these kind of new paradigms I want to walk you through in this series of blogs. Working harder is not always the answer! Learning how to be efficient with your actions is a huge key to peacefully achieving your dreams. I can remember hearing speakers yell from stage “suck it up and work harder” time after time. While there is no replacement for hard work, harder work isn’t always the next answer. I want to encourage you to think about what you do and what are the real keys to being successful in what you do.

We live in a relationship driven economy now and you just can’t rush a friendship or trust. I find the harder I work the more it shows up on my face! If you are in a people oriented business clearly your ability to develop buy-in is a very high priority. I want to encourage you all to ask yourself if your face, posture, body language and internal spirit is radiating energy that is attractive or is it saying nothing at all, let alone draining energy from people. More important than your level of effort is what kind of effort you are putting out. You need to be sure you are communicating life, love, happiness, confidence and hope! We have all heard “its not what you say but how you say what you say” but do you understand how it applies to you. It is so easy to get caught up in our own habits and just say well this is the way that I am and this is how I have always do things.

Make a change in your life that will bring peace and love to your life. Radiate the epic spirit that God put in all of us. Celebrate every moment and share your love for life with everyone you know. Learning to love every moment and transmit that energy is going to be key to your success and learning how to work less hard but get much greater success.

Relax, tranquillo, hakuna matata, shaka bra, all mean love what you do in service of people that you love who in return love you for what you do for them. Replenish and emit this energy and I guarantee a significant increase in your business and life.

Who’s the teacher?

All of us live in a world of rules and rulings. We need most of these things to keep order in our world but I think we all know that at one the time there were only a few rules. Love God and do unto others as you would have do unto you! Since these rules have not been honored man has stepped in for thousands of years in an attempt to control people. Most of these rules have been good for us but unfortunately man doesn’t stop until they feel like they have complete control over everything. The reality is that the more you try to control or think that you actually do have control, the less you really have. I really believe if we would learn to embrace the quote “let go and let God” instead of trying to take control and play God, we would be a lot better off.

As time has rolled along for all of us these rules tend to build into us a sense of fear of failure. How do you feel when you drive by that police officer or look in your rear view mirror and a few hundred yards back you see the blue lights? Aren’t they public servants? Well then why do we feel that way when we see them? It is because they can cause us grief at any particular time that often times seem unwarranted or unfair. The fear of judgment or failure can truly hamstring our lives and erode our happiness if we allow it to.

I would like to encourage you to seek failure! I don’t mean to hurt people or break laws on purpose. I am referring to learning to test your limits and learn from every experience. We celebrate on the mountaintops and learn in the valleys. Get busy living and embrace the lessons we gain from failure. If you don’t get busy living you might find yourself consumed by trying to survive. There is magic in our mistakes. It humbles us and teaches us at the same time. We develop deep compassion and empathy for people. The past 90 days have been the most painful season of my life but it has also been the most humbling, educational, galvanizing and self realization era of my life thus far. I truly have had everything ripped from me and I am left here naked with God, my children and a handful of incredible friends. Nothing but my heart and faith. This rebuilding stage I am going through will someday be remembered as the greatest season of my life because it will mark the transformation of my soul.

So who is the teacher? Well, I say life and our failures are the greatest teachers of all. Nothing happens if we don’t work to move forward. Most failures wont be as devastating as a divorce, they will simply be an opportunity to exercise humility and learn some valuable lessons. Take some chances and test your limits. Push yourself on your board or skis. Learn a new language and practice with people who will point out your mistakes. Exercise to a point of failure so you rebuild a stronger and healthier life. Mistakes and failure are good for you! They help identify what to do and what not to do. I know for a fact that I am going to be a better teacher because of my failures, lessons and corrections than I ever could have been if it were not for my personal experiences.

The world teaches us to fear failure. I don’t want you to fear anything! You should respect all things but fear nothing! Push yourself, set an outrageous goal and go for it. You might just be surprised how far you can go if you don’t set limits on yourself.

Got a Minute?

Several years ago, when I had a job, I was constantly under the gun to make performance quota deadlines. Every month it would come down to the last few days and we would have to get an extraordinary amount of work done. We would always promise ourselves after these deadlines that we would plan ahead and not get caught in this situation again. But, unfortunately we would find ourselves stuck in the exact same situation month after month. One day I asked myself why don’t I work as hard as I do at the end of the month at least 2 times a month. So I decided to cut the month in half and had deadlines every two weeks. This was so effective that I did it every week and then often times several times a week. It wasn’t long before I was breaking company performance records and promoted up the corporate ladder.

I am sure that you all have had times of extreme pressure and performance. Whether it was during finals in college, or navigating an airport when you are late or emergency clean ups when you find out people are coming over to your home. I find it quite amazing how much we can really do when we totally focus for short periods of time. In fact I am convinced we can all reinvent our lives on just a few minutes a day. I would like to challenge you all to do a little experiment with me. It might just change your life!!

First of all I would like you write down how you would like to live. I think our outside results are a manifestation of how we feel on the inside. I would like you describe what kind of outside life you would like to have, ie home, car, time, travel etc… Then I would like to describe what kind of person you would like to be. Describe your personality, character, sense of humor, confidence etc… Most of us fall short of these things but that’s why we are here; to grow, change, love, forgive, heal etc. Next I would like you to commit to a daily exercise with me. I want you to take 2 or 3 minutes a day and visualize yourself being this person, when you are done I want you to go attack your day with this trait exploding out of you for the next 12 minutes. It is truly incredible to see what 15 minutes can do for you. Just like the test or airport or studies you are incredible and have more capacity than you could possibly imagine. Walk around as the happiest most outgoing person in town, greet everyone in a saturated state of Gods glory, encourage 30 people in 15 minutes. Trust me on this guys it will change your life in only a few short minutes a day. You will notice the change and results immediately. Do it for a week and you will be noticed, do it for a month and you will never be the same. Eventually you will do it twice a day then 4 times then every 3o minutes. It won’t be long then until it is who you are and how you roll.

Each time you jam for 12 minutes I want you to take the time to celebrate what you just did. Encourage yourself, reward yourself and recognize what step you just took to becoming a better person. I guarantee that this simple exercise will totally reinvent how you go through life and the level of your performance in everything else you do.

Its only 15 minutes! Visualize it, do it and then celebrate it! Your life is worth it, your dreams demand it and your testimony will pay it forward forever.

Write it down

...A life worth living is a life worth recording! One of the most impact full things I have done over the past few years is to journal about my life. I was at first quite intimidated to start writing because of my dyslexia and the fact that I barely got out of high school. But I soon realized that the key is to express my thoughts for empowerment not to impress others. As soon as I made the switch from impress to empower I was able to freely express my thoughts and feelings.

I really want to encourage you to start journalizing and or blogging. First of all it’s a great release! Being able to get some things off your chest is a true blessing for those of you that run very hard in life. I have also been inspired to put my thoughts on paper so my kids could someday read them and get some answers to their own lives. I also have found great hope by going back and reading my old journals and realizing how far I have come! Sometimes we don’t know if we are really improving, but by writing things down you can then look back and clearly see how far you have come and how much you have learned from your experiences. Learning to be generous with your time, talent and testimony are keys to living a servant leadership life. By writing your thoughts you will be able to inspire and educate so many more lives.

I would like to share with you a couple of thoughts on what I call “power journaling”. First of all I would suggest you to write down whatever is on your mind. They could be thoughts, feelings, events, fears, challenges, insights or anything you have experienced. The keys are to record your life, become more in touch with your life and to eventually add value to others. There is no medicine for the soul like helping others. By writing these things down I have found it much easier to manage them in my mind and then visualize the new future that I want to build. As you learn to see your future before it happens you will then harness the power of the spoken word. Learning how to daily speak into existence the life that you want to live is one of the most life changing decisions we can make . Gods word says that the power of life and death are in the tongue. Our body automatically goes to work in making our thoughts and words come to life.

As we write it then see it and speak about our lives it becomes virtually impossible to resist taking action and creating daily habits that bring them all to life. You will soon begin to move quickly in the direction of these powerful thoughts and words. The next challenge you should take on is how to measure your results. The best advice I can give you with respect to this is try and focus your measurements to the efforts of your heart as compared to the results of your hand. If you continue to sew goodness into the universe there is no way you will fail. Measuring the efforts of your heart keeps your humility and patience in the healthiest proportions.

Lastly I want to really encourage you to celebrate every gift of your heart and effort of your hand. You are doing a great thing! Please take the time to celebrate and praise your efforts. Claim your new future and know that you are presently building your testimony that will inspire people forever. Write it down and listen to the gentle whisper in your ear. “You are loved, you are worthy and we need you” God is speaking to you all day long!

Get out of the box.

"You really don't know you are in a box until they finally close the lid".

... I have spent most of my life trying to conform to a set of

rules that were primarily created to give the illusion of a control

that will keep you safe and comfortable. When we are in the box

everything feels pretty warm and safe and no real issues to deal with

daily. The problem is that with this comfort also comes a bridling of

your ability and creative nature. If you think about a job or even a

union job you can see how it really robs you of your ambition and

desire to chart your own course. In most controlled employment

environments the harder you work the more trouble you seem to cause.

If you think outside the box you are taunted because your ambition is

exposing there apathy. The more you do the more they try to control

you! The odd thing about it is that most people seem to prefer these

controlling environments because they can hide here and never have to

really perform at a very high level. Before you know it the lid

begins to shut on you and your greatest assets can begin to die.

Dreams, ambition, creativity, thinking for yourself, ingenuity and

most leadership skills fade when the lid comes down. Look around

yourself in all the environments that you are in and ask yourself are

truly free or are you clinging to the safe confines of the box?

In order to make an extraordinary jump in life you are going to have

to ignore conventional behaviors. You are going to have to do and

think in way that you have never done before. Think about it, if what

you knew and were doing was going to get the job done don't you think

it would have worked by now! Our natural tendency is to turn to what

we know and what we are familiar with. The problem is that you have

already been down this road and your soul is craving something that

allows you to freely express yourself and achieve your highest

calling. We all want to do out best but then we rely on what we know

and we have always done and then get the same results. This is a new

era folks and the rules of the game have changed! Customizing, mobile

flexible, unique and non conforming are the model of the next 10

years. Your old styles and approaches will cripple your efforts at

making a massive breakthrough.

You are so close and I believe have been prepared your entire life for

this time right now to break out and make a radical leap in life. You

must learn to try and avoid the trap of faith in the familiar.

Building new habits is the key to breaking free. Our strengths become

our weaknesses if we rely on them too heavily. If you have ever rock

climbed you have probably found yourself relying too much on your

hands instead of your feet and legs. Before you know it you have

nothing left in your hands. We are all familiar with using our hands

to pull ourselves up and so that's what we do. But any good rock

climber will tell you its all in the legs and you have to ignore the

temptation of doing what you know and embrace the new unfamiliar

strength that is just waiting to be used. This change will bring

about an awareness that you never new existed and new tools begin to

show up in your life. "if your only tool is a hammer, you approach

every problem like it is a nail".

Being aware of the box is the first step. Please take a look around

and ask yourself if you are being encouraged to be creative and

instinctive or to just "follow" or just "do your job"? Our

authorities can cloak this with being nice and friendly but you have

to understand that if you keep doing the same thing you will keep

having the same thing. We are in an era where everything is

reinventing; are you?? If you want change then be the change! The

world needs you to start thinking and creating!

The safe, comfortable confines of the box are actually a trap and

eventually the lid will close. Either you will lose hope or control.

Its funny how the box feels good with the lid off. We can still look

up and have the illusion of being free because we can still see out.

But, when they close the lid all of that goes away and now its too

late to get out and do something about it.

Is the "frog boiling"? Many of you have heard the story about the frog

in a pan of cold water that could have easily jumped out but as the

water was getting hotter and hotter the frog did not make the jump

because the change was so subtle day by day that it didn't even notice

it. The water eventually boils on the stove and the frog dies, all

along it could have jumped out and changed its destiny. Are you in a

"pan" I bet you are and don't even know it! Just look around and see

what you are comparing yourself too. Is it all a bunch of people in

the same hot water, is that your standard? Well then please jump out

and embrace change and harness your God given creative abilities. We

have plenty of followers, be a leader and lead change by being change.
